Stop Sleeping on Pop Princess Tinashe

Have you met Tinashe Jorgensen Kachingwe also known as Tinashe?

Tinashe has been responsible for the following bops that you possibly heard on the radio on your way to work: “2 On,” “All Hands On Deck,” “Player,” “Superlove,” “Company,” “Flame,” and recently “No Drama” and “Faded Love.”

She has given us amazing music with stunning visuals and choreography. The fact that she’s still trying to establish herself as an artist is mind boggling considering other artists who are widely successful to this day ultimately did not have to work as hard as her.

“2 On” was Tinashe’s debut single, it reached number one on the Rhythmic airplay chart and peaked at number 24 on the Billboard Hot 100. Her debut album, Aquarius, was released in 2014 and it garnered her nominations for the Soul Train and BET Awards. After receiving critically acclaimed success she has continued to release singles while working on the release of her newest album Joyride,  she also had the chance of working with Queen of Pop Britney Spears who she says is one of her biggest influences.

In a recent interview with AOL, Tinashe talks about the release of her new music:

“I really wanted people to know that this wasn’t just one song I was throwing out there to see what was going to happen. It’s part of a continued rollout plan. It’s something we’re taking seriously in terms of how we’re presenting the content, and I wanted [the music] to be as impactful as possible.”

Like, what is there not to love about her?

I’m honestly ready and prepared, WAITING, for Tinashe to come snatch this cheap party world wig off of my head.
